Profile

Tia specialises in providing practical advice on a variety of day-to-day employment issues to both employers and individuals across the UK. This includes assisting and advising on a full range of contentious and non-contentious matters including but not limited to:

Drafting employment contracts & service agreements
Navigating complex disciplinary & grievance procedures
Reviewing policy documents (policies & staff handbooks)
Negotiating, drafting & advising on settlement agreements
Advising on redundancy procedures and business restructures
Assisting with general employment queries
Assisting with immigration / right-to-work queries
Advising on regulatory matters (particularly in the healthcare and education industries)

Tia also represents individuals in the Employment Tribunal and prides herself on her proactive and pragmatic approach to litigation. She is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA), and volunteers for the Norfolk Community Law Society.

Delivering Equality and Diversity Training to small and medium sized businesses
Representing individuals in Employment Tribunal proceedings
Regularly assists clients with business immigration enquiries, having attended specialist training which allows her to tailor her advice
Regularly supports neurodivergent clients with issues in the workplace, and discriminatory treatment and dismissal
Regularly supports four Partners with a variety of complex litigation in the Employment Tribunal and other day-to-day enquiries from clients
Experienced dealing with a variety of different regulators including in respect of safeguarding and potential serious misconduct matters
