Georgia Sartin

Georgia assists clients with a full range of contentious probate and core property disputes. In particular, Georgia is driven by providing empathetic, but pragmatic advice to individuals in disputes that arise from a challenging family context.

Georgia assists with a full range of contentious matters including but not limited to:

• Inheritance disputes, including claims under Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
• Trust disputes;
• Misrepresentation claims;
• Will validity disputes;
• Boundary disputes;
• Neighbour disputes;
• Right of way disputes;
• Proprietary estoppel claims;
• Disputes between executors/trustees;
• Landlord and tenant disputes (including commercial and residential).

Georgia graduated with a Philosophy degree from the University of Birmingham in 2019 and subsequently went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies and the Legal Practice course with a Masters, achieving a distinction.
In 2023, Georgia commenced her training contract with Leathes Prior. During her training contract, Georgia sat in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Family, and Employment teams, before returning to the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team to qualify, specialising in property and probate disputes in September 2025.

Georgia is currently undertaking the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) course with the University of Law, further developing her specialist knowledge and expertise to enhance the service and advice she provides to her clients.

In her spare time, Georgia enjoys cooking for family and friends, running, and yoga.
