Matt's role includes responsibility for ensuring the firm’s buildings and services, based primarily in the historic Cathedral Close and Tombland, meet the needs of our staff and clients, and are maintained to the very highest standard.

Matt’s remit also covers the security and access provision for all buildings, ensuring the offices are cleaned to a high standard, the ongoing maintenance of buildings and equipment, as well as the procurement of all food & drink, catering, cleaning and stationery supplies.

Matt also oversees the Post Room and Archiving functions for the firm, ensuring client matters are retained and destroyed in a timely manner.

In his spare time, Matt likes to relax with a round of golf whenever possible, and really enjoys all forms of sport, especially football, cricket and golf. He enjoys socialising with friends and family, and also plays league darts in and around Norwich on a weekly basis.

Over 10 years experience in supervisory and management roles, in a warehouse environment, managing both small and large teams to achieve Operational Targets and KPI’s. Specialising in Supply Chain and Logistics both domestically and internationally.

A further 10 years experience in the management of Health and Safety & Facilities in both Warehouse and Office environments, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and accident prevention and investigation.  I am also a trained DSE Assessor.

A strong background in Process Development, Procurement, and Contractor Management.

I previously managed the implementation of Quality & Environmental Management Systems to accredited ISO standards, ensuring legal compliance and continual improvement in these areas to benefit the business and its customers.

Since joining Leathes Prior, I have worked to ensure that our grade 2 listed buildings are improved and well maintained while ensuring that work is carried out sympathetically, getting the required permissions from our landlords and local authorities to ensure the buildings retain their historical significance.

I have also overseen various building refurbishment projects, office set ups and building relocations for our Legal Teams.
