Profile

Hugo joined Leathes Prior in March 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor, sitting specifically in the Corporate and Commercial Team for the duration of his training contract with Partner, Alex Saunders.

Outside of work, Hugo is an avid runner who enjoys travelling, live music, reading, and spending time with friends.

Experience

Working alongside other solicitors in the Corporate and Commercial Team Hugo has assisted with the following:

Assisting business owners with the sale of their companies including the drafting of transactional documents and supporting negotiations through to completion
Helping complete corporate restructurings
Working alongside the team on demerger transactions
Working closely with Alex Saunders on various Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), including drafting transactional and trust documentation
Implementing Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI) Schemes
