150th Anniversary Celebration

On Thursday 16 July 2026, Leathes Prior celebrated our 150th Anniversary with a celebration in The Close. We welcomed over 400 clients, referrers, friends of the firm, and ex-staff to celebrate the milestone with us for the evening using all local suppliers.

LP Show Stopper Bake Off Challenge

In January 2026, we hosted a 'Bake Off' Show Stopper style competition to create the best showstopping bake, focused around celebrating our 150th anniversary - all in aid of raising funds for The Big C - Big Cuppa campaign. Teams came together to create some fantastic bakes judged by our Senior Partner, Mike Barlow.

Christmas Jumper Day & Bake Sale

On Thursday 11 December, Team LP took part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for The Matthew Project. We also held a festive themed bake sale featuring mince pies, Christmas tree chocolate cake, and gingerbread men!

Leathes Prior Take Part in The Benjamin Foundation's 10th Anniversary Sleep Out

On Friday, 7 November, Leathes Prior took part in The Benjamin Foundation's 10th anniversary of 'Sleep Out' held in The Cloisters at Norwich Cathedral, where individuals volunteer to spend one night sleeping outside to raise awareness of youth homelessness. Team LP, along with all taking part, slept outside, giving participants both a glimpse of the challenges homeless people may face and an opportunity to fundraise for a great cause.

Break's GoGoSafari Sculpture Trail

Leathes Prior was proud to sponsor a sculpture in the Break GoGoSafari art trail this summer! Taking place in collaboration with Wild in Art and Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA), the 2025 trail showcased the Break ‘Big 5’ - elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and gorillas - each symbolising one of Break’s vital services.

Charity of the Month

Big C

Leathes Prior is pleased to support Norfolk cancer charity, Big C as its Charity of the Month for January 2026, with colleagues taking part in Big C’s Big Cuppa fundraiser as it returns for World Cancer Day 2026. Established in 1980, Big C began as a fundraising project to supply chemotherapy equipment to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and has since grown to fund specialist equipment and international research project at the Norwich Research Park. They are committed to working collectively to provide outstanding cancer support, when and where people of Norfolk need it, now and for the future, something we’re really proud to support.

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting the Sue Lambert Trust as our Charity of the Month for February 2026. Sue Lambert Trust is a leading charity in Norfolk offering free therapeutic counselling and support services to survivors of sexual violence and abuse.

The Sunshine Memory Café

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting The Sunshine Memory Café in Reepham, as our Charity of the Month for March 2026. The Sunshine Memory Café is a space for those with dementia and their carers to come together every second and forth Thursday of the month at St Michaels in Reepham. In March, we held our 'Big Fat Quiz of the 150th Year' to raise funds for the cafe.

Crohn's & Colitis UK

Leathes Prior are delighted to be supporting Crohn’s & Colitis UK as our Charity of the Month for April 2026. Crohn’s & Colitis UK is changing what it means to live with these lifelong, incurable gut conditions. Around one in 120 people in the UK have Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis, navigating life with an unpredictable condition that could flare up at any time. To raise funds for the charity, this month we are holding a 'dress down day' for all staff at LP.

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting St Elizabeth Hospice for the month of May 2026. A group of our staff spent the day with the team at St Elizabeth Hospice donation centre in Martlesham, helping with donation sorting and getting an insight into the operation they run to stock all of their retail stores.

Thrive Autism

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting Thrive Autism as our Charity of the Month for July 2026. Thrive Autism is a relatively new charity in Norfolk, but with very big ambitions to support neurodivergent children, young people, and their families in Norfolk and Waveney. In July, Thrive Autism joined us for our 150th Anniversary Celebration to speak to our guests about their work, together we raised £3000 to support those who need it in our community.

Team LP took part in the Alzheimer's Society Trek26 Coastal Walk along the Norfolk Coast, walking a half marathon distance of 13 miles to raise funds for our Charity of the Month, the Alzheimer's Society.

The Feed

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting The Feed as our Charity of the Month for September 2025. Founded in 2014, The Feed is a Norwich-based charity dedicated to helping communities thrive. Their catering and café services bring people together and generate vital funds for their community projects. All revenue made goes back into the ‘Social Supermarket’ and ‘Community Café’, to help those who need it most, to eat well, live well, and feel connected.

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting Norfolk and Waveney Mind as our Charity of the Month for October 2025 and, in particular, supporting the ‘Do Blue’ campaign. Today, on World Mental Health Day, we are wearing blue as a firm to show our support and to raise awareness and funds for N&WM, as well as a team of LP’ers taking part in the Norfolk & Waveney Mind Night Walk.

The Benjamin Foundation

Leathes Prior is thrilled to be supporting The Benjamin Foundation as our Charity of the Month for November and to have participated in their annual flagship fundraising event, Sleep Out 2025. Founded in 1994, The Benjamin Foundation began as a small youth outreach project in North Norfolk and has since grown into one of East Anglia’s leading charities, dedicated to tackling youth homelessness. Their work is guided by the needs of people in Norfolk and Suffolk, delivering vital services such as Early Years education, family support, emotional wellbeing, and mental health care.
