The sponsorship will contribute towards providing opportunities for talented young players to develop their skills, access high-quality coaching and progress through the representative cricket pathway.

As one of Norfolk's longest-established law firms, Leathes Prior has a proud history of supporting local organisations that help people and communities thrive. The firm believes that investing in young people and creating opportunities for personal development is vital to the future success of the county.

Peter Lambert, Head of Business Development & Marketing at Leathes Prior, said:

"As a firm with a mantra of supporting local, supporting initiatives like this is incredibly important to us. The Norfolk Cricket Foundation does fantastic work in providing opportunities for young people to develop both on and off the field. We are pleased to support a programme that helps talented players reach their potential while promoting team work, commitment and personal growth."

The Norfolk Cricket Foundation works across the county to grow participation in cricket, improve accessibility and create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy the game. Its pathway programme is a key part of that work, helping young cricketers develop and progress within the sport.

Lewis Denmark, Development Director at Norfolk Cricket Foundation, said:

“As a newly established charitable foundation, we are delighted to be partnering with Leathes Prior, whose support is helping us strengthen the talent pathway for young cricketers across Norfolk. Our aim is to nurture and develop the county’s most talented players and create genuine opportunities for them to progress towards professional cricket.

We are committed to providing the very best pathway and environment for aspiring young cricketers. However, we recognise that the cost of participating in these programmes continues to rise, which can create additional challenges for players and their families. The generous support from Leathes Prior is therefore hugely valuable in helping to offset these costs and, importantly, ensuring that talented young cricketers have the opportunity to fulfil their potential, regardless of their circumstances."

Leathes Prior looks forward to working alongside the Norfolk Cricket Foundation and following the progress of Norfolk's next generation ofcricketers in the years ahead.
