LP Celebrates 150th Anniversary
To begin a year of celebrations, this week Leathes Prior are delighted to reveal our refreshed brand identity and website.

In 1876, our founder, Leathes Prior, established Turner& Prior, which would later become Leathes Prior Solicitors as we know it today. 2026 marks our 150th anniversary, a milestone we are very proud to be celebrating.
To begin a year of celebrations, this week we are delighted to reveal our refreshed brand identity, a thoughtful visual evolution that honours our rich history while celebrating the future we’re building here at LP. We have consciously combined a classic serif, and contemporary sans serif font in our logo and wider brand identity intended to reflect who we are: a forward thinking law firm, grounded in longstanding values of trust, exceptional service, and genuine client relationships.
Alongside our new brand identity, we have developed a new LP website, which aims to better serve our clients, with improved user experience and lots of exciting new features for future lawyers to learn more about Leathes Prior and what we offer when training with us.
Managing Partner, Dan Chapman shares “This year marks a very special milestone for our firm as we celebrate 150 years. It is a testament to the dedication, service and excellence of our people - past and present - to the trust our clients place in us. From our founder, Leathes Prior, to the team we have today, everyone has played a vital role in shaping who we are. As we begin this anniversary year, I am proud to launch our refreshed brand identity and new website, which mark an exciting next chapter in LP’s history.”
As ever, we remain focused on delivering pragmatic, proactive advice, helping clients navigate challenges in both their business and personal lives. The legal world moves fast, and we’re committed to moving with it, empowering our clients to thrive today and in the future.
We are very excited to share this milestone anniversary with our staff, clients and friends of the firm throughout 2026, and look forward to what the future of LP holds.
