Milan is a Solicitor in the Corporate & Commercial Team. He specialises in providing professional and high-quality advice on complex company-related matters and has been involved in a number of mergers, acquisitions, and sales, acting for both sellers and buyers.
Milan has a particular interest in companies operating in the Healthcare sector, from assisting with medical practices seeking to operate as limited companies or LLPs, to reviewing and advising on commercial contracts and other documents, all the way through to facilitating an exit.
Corporate & Commercial matters that Milan can advise on include:
- Setting up companies, partnerships, and LLPs;
- Buying and selling businesses and companies;
- Contract reviews and negotiations;
- Drafting bespoke commercial agreements and documents;
- Company restructures;
- Company investments, fundraising rounds, and banking-related matters;
- Employee ownership trusts (EOTs); and
- Employee share incentive schemes (EMI schemes).
Milan graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) in 2020, before going on to pass the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of East Anglia (UEA), in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Milan started his Training Contract with Leathes Prior immediately after in September 2022, before qualifying into the Corporate & Commercial Team in September 2024.
Outside of work, Milan co-founded and organises a football league for professional firms in Norwich. He is, unfortunately, a lifelong Chelsea FC fan, but when not engrossed in football, is either in the gym, on the golf course, or spending time with family.

When that once in a lifetime opportunity knocks, it's essential to get it right. We did our groundwork, and on recommendation, we chose Leathes Prior. They did the job, above and beyond. If we had to do it all again I’d choose them, and we would recommend them to anyone with a business to sell. Our team (Alex Saunders, Jack Horwitz, and Milan Pandit) was the ‘A’ Team (‘A’ for advice, ability, accuracy, approach, and attitude). In my view, it's essential to have the right people, have the full set of expertise on hand, and rely on their expertise to get you through the tough bits. Now we are all going to the races to celebrate!
