SRA Transparency Rules
Leathes Prior is committed to providing transparency in its pricing in line with the SRA Transparency Rules and as a firm, we are always happy to talk to prospective clients free of charge to further explain any aspect of this.
These rules set out the information authorised firms, and individuals providing services to the public from outside authorised firms, should make available to clients and potential clients (as per the requirements of the Legal Services Board).
The rules aim to ensure people have accurate and relevant information about a solicitor or firm when they are considering purchasing certain legal services and will help members of the public and small businesses make informed choices, improving competition in the legal market.
The aim of our new Transparency Rules is to not only comply with the requirements set down by the LSB but to ensure that clients and prospective clients have the information they need to make an informed choice about their legal services provider, including understanding what the costs may be.
