James is currently sitting in the Commercial Property Team with Partner Lucy Whipps assisting clients with a full range of property and agricultural matters.
James joined Leathes Prior in September 2024 to begin his Training Contract. James previously sat in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, and Wills, Trusts and Probate Team before moving to his third seat in the Commercial Property Team.
Outside of work, James enjoys playing golf and has previously represented his club and county. James is also involved with the Norfolk and Norwich Legal Golf Society. He also enjoys watching a range of sports such as football, F1, and darts alongside playing darts at home.
- Graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2023 with an LLB Law Degree
- Finalist in the UEA Mediation Competition
- During University, volunteered with the Norfolk Community Law Service, first in the Debt Advice Team in 2021/22 and then the Employment Team in 2022/23
- Studied the LPC at BPP University in Cambridge, graduating in 2024
- Began his Training Contract with Leathes Prior in September 2024
