Danny is an Associate within our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, specialising in bringing and defending claims before the first-tier tribunal, county court and the High Court.
Experienced in acting for clients at mediation and exploring alternative dispute resolution, Danny takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to disputes and enjoys looking at creative solutions to client's legal issues. Danny’s experience has particular emphasis on commercial & residential property litigation matters including landlord and tenant disputes, lease extension and enfranchisement disputes, land disputes and contractual disputes, acting for both businesses and individuals.
Danny grew up in Essex and completed his law degree and Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin University, he then undertook his training contract at a regional firm in Essex, qualifying as a Solicitor in December 2015. Danny went on to work in-house at an insurance company based in Hertfordshire dealing exclusively with property litigation matters.
In 2018 Danny took a career break and travelled throughout South and Central America before returning to the UK and re-locating to Norfolk and has since worked at a local regional firm dealing with civil and commercial litigation acting for businesses and individuals on contractual and property disputes. Danny joined the Leathes Prior Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team in May 2023.
Outside of work Danny enjoys reading, particularly autobiographies and true crime, travelling, going to the theatre, attending comedy gigs, hiking (he hiked Mount Kilimanjaro in March 2020 and will tell anyone who will listen!). Less so enjoyable but turning his hand to all sorts of DIY whilst renovating his first house.
