Julia qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and joined Leathes Prior in March 2021. She works within the Commercial Property and Agricultural Property Teams, working closely with landowners.
Prior to working at Leathes Prior she trained then worked at a regional and national firm in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. She studied law at the University of York and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Birmingham.
Since qualifying Julia has specialised in both commercial and agricultural property, and has acted for commercial clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing and financing matters. Her experience in agricultural property includes the purchase of a £5million + farm in Suffolk for an investor client and advising trustees on the sale of a large unregistered tenanted farm on the Essex/Suffolk border. She has also been noted as a "rising star" in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Legal 500.
Outside of work Julia enjoys pub quizzes, dressage and powerlifting. She is also looking forward to being able to explore Norfolk with her new role.
