Swardeston CC Royal London Club Champions
Leathes Prior were made very proud as Swardeston CC sponsors yesterday as they secured the win against Nantwich CC in the final of the Royal London Club Championship at Lord's.

Leathes Prior were made very proud as main club sponsors of Swardeston Cricket Club yesterday as the club secured the win against Nantwich CC in the final of the Royal London Club Championship at Lord's.
The day began at 7.00am as Leathes Prior supporters travelled from Swardeston with family, friends and members of the club to the Home of Cricket to support the team in the final.
Batting first, Swardeston secured a score of 280, and although some rain reduced the run chase, the club still came out on top after some great bowling and fielding saw Nantwich all out for 193.
Leathes Prior's Business Development & Marketing Manager, Peter Lambert, made the firm especially proud after hitting boundaries as soon as he stepped onto the field, scoring an excellent 60, before going on to be awarded man-of-the-match!
For more details of yesterday's action, see here in the EDP.
The team don't have long to reflect on yesterday's triumph, as they now prepare for another trip out of the county to the Vitality National Club T20 Finals Day at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. Should the club be victorious at this final on Sunday, they will become the first club to win the 40 over and T20 national titles in one year. Good luck Swardeston, we know you can bring home another win!

The Value of Planning Ahead: LPAs & Court of Protection
Putting LPAs in place allows you to choose trusted people to make decisions for you if you lose capacity in the future. This avoids the need for loved ones to make a costly and time-consuming deputyship application to the Court of Protection. With more people likely to experience conditions affecting capacity, more families may need to turn to the Court for support where no LPAs are in place.
