We are delighted to announce the promotion of eight key members of staff at Leathes Prior, effective 1 April 2025. These promotions reflect the continued growth of the firm and our continued commitment to developing our talent within the firm.

We are extremely delighted to announce that Lily Beel has accepted an invitation to join the Partnership from 1 April.

Lily’s journey at LP began in 2015 as a paralegal before she commenced her training contract with the firm, and she has since risen through the ranks, demonstrating outstanding legal expertise and leadership. She has been a Senior Associate since 2023 and has acted as Deputy Head of the Residential Property Team alongside Stephen Wilson.

A highly skilled property lawyer who offers exceptional client service, and complete dedication to her clients, Lily has made significant contributions to her team and the wider firm. It is fantastic to see homegrown talent reaching the highest levels within LP, and we are immensely proud of her achievement – congratulations Lily.

We are also thrilled to announce the promotion of three other property lawyers to the rank of Senior Associate, Rachael Hughes, Rebecca Millard and Edmund Ramsdale.

Rachael Hughes, our reigning Employee of the Year, has been an integral part of the Residential Property Team since joining LP in 2022 following an 18-year career at a regional firm. Having been promoted to Associate in 2023, Rachael’s continued accomplishments and high-level client feedback sees her now step up to Senior Associate in our hugely successful Residential Property Team.

Rebecca Millard joined LP as an Associate in 2022, bringing a decade of commercial property experience with her. Having initially qualified as a Legal Executive, she has been a Solicitor since 2023 and is now a key figure within the growing Commercial Property Team. This well-deserved promotion recognises her expertise and contributions to the firm.

Edmund Ramsdale joined LP in 2020 and has been a conveyancer since 2014. He was promoted to Associate in 2023 and has played a crucial role in the continued success of the Residential Property Team. His well-earned promotion to Senior Associate reflects his dedication and impact on the team and his respected legal expertise in all things property.

And last, but certainly not least, we have promoted four brilliant individuals to the role of Associate, Alison Beales, Ellie Davies, Nadine Jasinski and Sam Poulter.

Alison Beales joined Leathes Prior in 2020, bringing five years of prior experience, and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2024. Having initially worked in our Residential Property Team, Alison transitioned to the Commercial Property Team in December 2023, where she has excelled, specialising in agricultural matters.

Ellie Davies began her journey with LP as a trainee solicitor in 2019, having been an early pioneer of our Vacation Scheme. Qualifying as a Solicitor in 2021, she has since been a key member of our Family Team and now takes this well-deserved step up to Associate.

Nadine Jasinski joined LP in August 2021 and has played a pivotal role in the progression of our Residential Property Team. With extensive experience from her previous firm, she has been instrumental in delivering excellent service and growing the team’s expertise alongside assisting the Sports and Social Committee here at LP.

Sam Poulter has been part of the LP since 2019, qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2022. A former Employee of the Year, Sam is a valued member of the Corporate & Commercial Team and fully deserves this next step in his career.

Dan Chapman commented; “We are incredibly proud to announce these well-earned promotions across the firm. Seeing so many colleagues progressing within the firm is genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of this job. These promotions are a direct result of hard work, commitment, and real contributions to the firm’s success. Whether lawyers join LP as their first firm and rise through the ranks, or join us from elsewhere, we always seek to encourage, develop and reward talent, and this year is another example of that. Congratulations to all who have been promoted.

I am especially excited to welcome Lily to the Partnership. She has contributed both to her team and the wider firm in many ways, and I have every confidence that she is going to make a super Partner. It is fabulous to see more homegrown talent join the Partnershipand for any aspiring law student looking for their first paralegal role, she is a great example of where hard work can take you, and quickly."

Congratulations to all our newly promoted Associates, Senior Associates, and our newest Partner.
