Leathes Prior advises on sale of Norfolk Holiday Properties
Leathes Prior are pleased to announce that Jack Horwitz has advised on the sale of Hostberry Limited t/a Norfolk Holiday Properties to property management company Host & Stay Management Limited.

We are pleased to announce that Jack Horwitz of Leathes Prior’s Corporate Team has advised on the sale of Hostberry Limited t/a Norfolk Holiday Properties to property management company Host & Stay Management Limited.
Established in 2018, Norfolk Holiday Properties began by renting out a few family-owned properties within a small village in North Norfolk. Since then, they have grown to now offer a variety of handpicked properties across Norfolk, including seaside cottages, large countryside barn conversions, city center townhouses, and apartments. Following the sale to Host & Stay, Norfolk Holiday Properties can now offer a local service combined with a national reach.
The acquisition of Norfolk Holiday Properties confirms Host & Stay’s commitment to making the UK one of the most popular, guest-centric holiday destinations, with a focus on changing the game for holiday let owners, while offering the highest level of customer service and experience to guests.
Sascha Tucker, Founder of Norfolk Holiday Properties, said, “Joining forces with Host & Stay marks an exciting new chapter for Norfolk Holiday Properties. With Host & Stay’s cutting-edge technology and expertise, I am confident this partnership will allow us to elevate the Norfolk Holiday Properties brand”.
Jack Hortwitz, Senior Associate in Leathes Prior’s Corporate Team, said on assisting with the acquisition, “It was a pleasure to work with Sascha and the team at Price Bailey on this transaction. Whilst it wasn’t without its challenges, having a dedicated and motivated client, along with expert advice on the accountancy side, made this a great deal to work on. I wish Sascha and Mark all the best for the future.”
Following the sale, Sascha said, “I’m incredibly grateful to Jack and the team at Leathes Prior for guiding us through with expert care. Jack had a deep understanding of the nuances involved in the sale of a service-based business, with complex client relationships, long-term contracts, and operational intricacies. The advice received was spot-on at every stage.
What truly stood out was Jack’s unwavering support and calm demeanour, even under pressure. When a last-minute issue cropped up on Christmas Eve, Jack responded immediately with a level head, clear communication, and exactly the reassurance we needed at a critical moment. That kind of commitment is rare, and it made all the difference.
If you’re looking for legal support for the sale of a business, I couldn’t recommend Jack and Leathes Prior highly enough. Exceptional from start to finish”.
The acquisition of Norfolk Holiday Properties was supported by Seb Humberston and James White at Price Bailey.

With the Government having restricted itself to one fiscal event a year in the form of the Autumn Budget, the Spring Statement is perhaps not the dramatic moment it used to be. It is more a chance for the Government to respond to events and economic forecasts than to set policy for the future.

The Value of Planning Ahead: LPAs & Court of Protection
Putting LPAs in place allows you to choose trusted people to make decisions for you if you lose capacity in the future. This avoids the need for loved ones to make a costly and time-consuming deputyship application to the Court of Protection. With more people likely to experience conditions affecting capacity, more families may need to turn to the Court for support where no LPAs are in place.
