Charity of the Month: Break

Leathes Prior is delighted to be supporting Break as our Charity of the Month for June 2025, and throughout the Summer as sponsor of Unity the Elephant, part of the Break GoGoSafari art trail. For those unfamiliar with Break, they are a local charity working across East Anglia to support children and young people on the edge of care, in care, and leaving care, believing that every child, no matter their start in life, deserves a bright future.

The support they offer doesn't stop when young people leave care; a lifelong offer means they are there whenever and wherever they're needed, which is really special.

What services does Break offer?

Their services are wide-ranging, including children's homes for children and young people who cannot live in a family, and fostering to offer children a family home who cannot live with their birth families to therapeutic services to support children with their unique and often complex needs and volunteer mentoring to offer dedicated one-to-one support for children and young people over substantial periods of time. All of these services (and more!), support children and young people to have the brightest start possible during their time in care, and in leaving care.

Break is a fantastic charity to work with, whether it is through their GoGo Trails (which we can confirm is so fun and rewarding to be a part of!), events like their annual Grand Norwich Duck Race, or fundraising with your team, the team is so supportive in any way they can be to make your support go as far as it can.
