Richard obtained his law degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2006 before going on to achieve a distinction on the Legal Practice Course at BPP University. Richard’s previous employment experience includes working as an analyst in criminal intelligence for both the British Transport Police and Transport for London. He then completed a training contract with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2016. During his training contract Richard was nominated for the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society’s Trainee Lawyer of the year award and was short-listed into the final three.
As well as possessing commercial expertise, Richard also advises and assists with franchising matters and also corporate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, share option and employee share schemes, share reorganisations, shareholders’ agreements and corporate restructuring. Richard is able to support and advise the clients on data protection obligations and can offer bespoke training courses in this area.
Richard is a keen sportsman with particular interests in athletics, cycling and football.
