We are excited to announce that our well-established Wills, Trusts, and Probate Team is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant into the team.
The team currently comprises of two Partners, three Senior Associates, one Associate, one Chartered Legal Executive, two Solicitors, an Accountant, one Paralegal and two Trainee Solicitors. The team is supported by five Legal Assistants and a Client Services Assistant providing specialist advice and support to their clients on a wide range of wills, trusts, and probate matters.

The Post and candidate
The successful candidate will provide proactive administrative support to the team playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all types of Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters.
The main duties of the position include :
• Ensuring excellent levels of client service are maintained at all times to prospective and existing clients;
• Assisting lawyers with document preparation, filing, and correspondence;
• Monitoring and fielding email enquiries from prospective and existing clients, and passing onto the team, as appropriate;
• Typing, preparing and formatting documents;
• Maintaining client files, to include electronic and paper filing, and efficient utilisation of the case management system;
• Assisting in the management of electronic diaries for the team;
• Assisting the team with accounting processes such as preparation of invoices and assisting with credit control and;
To be successful within the role, the ideal candidate must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, be proactive, maintain excellent levels of client service and be comfortable prioritising tasks from multiple sources. Training will be provided within the team but at least 1 year of previous experience in an administrative position will be essential. Experience in a similar role and/or sector would be desirable.
