Leathes Prior is delighted to announce that four of our trainees, Eleanor Chapman, Maggie Berry, Alex Robinson, and Georgia Sartin, have successfully completed their training contracts and are now qualified Solicitors at the firm. This marks a significant milestone in their legal careers, and we look forward to seeing them flourish in their new roles at LP.
Eleanor Chapman has qualified into our Residential Property Team. Having joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in November 2021, she was promoted to Paralegal in 2023 before starting her training contract. Alongside her ambitious work ethic, Eleanor is an active member of the Norfolk & Norwich Junior Lawyers Division, where she helped organise events and contribute to the local legal community. Her professionalism and drive have been evident from the start, and we are certain she will be a valuable member of the Residential Property Team.
Maggie Berry has qualified into our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, specialising in commercial disputes. During her training contract, Maggie gained experience in the Family, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Corporate & Commercial Teams, developing strong skills across a range of different areas which will stand her in good stead when working in commercial disputes. Her resilience and commitment have shone through, and we have no doubt she will be a real asset to the team.
Alex Robinson has qualified into our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, specialising in commercial and intellectual property disputes. During his training contract, he has trained in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Commercial, and Employment Teams, consistently demonstrating dedication and impressive intellectual ability. We look forward to seeing his continued success as part of our Commercial Disputes Team.
Georgia Sartin has also qualified into our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, focusing on property and probate disputes. She completed seats in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Family, and Employment during her training contract. Georgia’s positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm have already made her a great asset to the firm, and we are confident she will contribute greatly in her new role.
Training Principal, Sarah Appleton, said, “Qualifying as a Solicitor is a huge milestone, and I am so proud of Eleanor, Maggie, Alex, and Georgia for the hard work they have put in to reach this point. The fact that, once again, we have retained 100% of our second-year Trainee cohort this year speaks volumes about the dedication both they and their supervisors have devoted to their success. Our four newly qualified solicitors are a credit to the firm, and I look forward to seeing their careers thrive with LP.”
Please join us in congratulating Eleanor, Maggie, Alex, and Georgia on their well-deserved success and welcoming them to their new roles as qualified Solicitors at Leathes Prior.

This is a significant step towards making estate planning easier for families who own farms or businesses.
