Leathes Prior are delighted to be supporting MensCraft as our Charity of the Month for May 2024. As the leading organisation in Norfolk for focusing exclusively on men’s health and wellbeing, MensCraft has been running for 14 years and continues to be an essential support service for men across the county. Their range of projects and programmes support men in managing life’s challenges such as unemployment, debt, family breakdown, parenting, addiction, bereavement, and loneliness through activity, meaning, and connection.
Programmes such as The Pit Stop offer a weekly meeting hosted by MensCraft in Norwich and towns across Norfolk & Waveney to make the service as accessible as possible to men across the county. You can find The Pit Stops in locations such as Dereham, Downham Market, Great Yarmouth, King’s Lynn, Lowestoft, Norwich, Thetford, Watton, and Wymondham. Find out more about The Pit Stops here.
Its range of activities and programmes successfully improve men's connections and sense of belonging, and after 6 months of support from the charity, men reported:
- Less socially isolated (96%)
- Improved wellbeing (91%)
- Less hopelessness (88%)
- Improved purpose & positive motivation (87%)
- Improved mental health (86%)
