Leathes Prior advise on the sale of Highbury Support Services Limited
Leathes Prior’s Corporate Team have acted for Highbury Support Services Limited, a supported living and care business in Wales, on their sale to Birch Faraday Capital.

We are pleased to announce that Alex Saunders and Jack Horwitz of Leathes Prior’s Corporate Team have acted on the sale of Highbury Support Services to Birch Faraday Capital.
Established in 1996, Highbury Support Services Limited (the “Company”) is a family company with over 25 years’ experience in enabling individuals with identified support needs to live their lives as independently as possible. The Company supports individuals with mental health needs and learning & physical disabilities in their own homes and at their day service centre, which opened in 2007. Following expansion, the Company now provides over 2,500 hours of support each week, and employs over 80 qualified Support Workers.
Following their acquisition of Mediline Supported Living in 2023, Birch Faraday Capital saw Highbury Supported Services as a fantastic addition to their existing operations and were well placed to acquire the business and continue the growth of the service.
Alex Saunders, Partner in the Corporate & Commercial Team at Leathes Prior commented: “It was a pleasure acting for Natalie, Phil and Stephen on the sale of Highbury Support Services Limited, which realised their ambitions to exit the business and ensures that the Company is in a strong position to continue to grow and provide quality care to those in the local community."
Natalie Davies said of Leathes Prior: “Thank you to the team at Leathes Prior for their support, hard work and guidance with the sale of Highbury Support Services. Despite some unexpected challenges, Alex and the Team were always on hand to provide reassurance, and with professionalism and patience made the process as smooth as possible.”
Stephen Reed, Seb Humberston and James White of Price Bailey Chartered Accountants were financial advisors to the vendors.
