Before deciding to pursue a career in law, Georgia studied Politics and Economics at King’s College London, graduating with first class honours in 2015. Georgia then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in London, obtaining a distinction in both courses.
In 2017, Georgia commenced her training contract at a London law firm where she gained experience of a wide range of contentious and non-contentious work including high value complex commercial litigation, company acquisitions and disposals and residential and commercial property transactions.
Shortly after qualifying as a solicitor in September 2019, Georgia joined Leathes Prior in October 2019, having trained as a solicitor at a boutique London firm. She advises companies, individuals, charities and public bodies on a wide variety of commercial property transactions.
Georgia’s recent work includes:
- Regularly acting for landlords and tenants in negotiating leases for all types of commercial property including offices, warehouses, factories, schools, pubs, retail and more.
- Dealing with sales and purchases of commercial property across Norfolk, London and beyond including high value and complex transactions.
- Advising on and negotiating the terms of option and overage agreements for landowners and property developers.
- Acting for lenders on property financing and refinancing deals.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys cooking, gardening and exploring the Norfolk countryside with her husband and pet Labrador.
Georgia has done a fantastic job, I am always so very thankful to your office for all your help.
