Chantal joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team in November 2021. As an experienced litigation solicitor Chantal boasts over 2 decades of experience in all areas of contentious law, gaining specialist expertise in property litigation and insolvency disputes since 2010. Her work covers areas such as Landlord and Tenant, Easements, Boundary Disputes, Restrictive Covenants, Dilapidations, Lease Renewals, Rights of Light and all other intricate areas of property litigation.
Chantal began her legal career at the age of 19, working and studying in her spare time to qualify as a Legal Executive. She later completed the post graduate Legal Practice Course and qualified as a solicitor in 2010. Chantal qualified at Eversheds Sutherland before working in-house at Aviva and thereafter at Leathes Prior in the Insolvency Team. Between leaving Leathes Priors in 2015, to start a family, and returning in November 2021, Chantal worked with many clients locally and in London as a Consultant Solicitor, advising on all aspects of contentious property, commercial and insolvency work. In her spare time, Chantal is a mum to two young daughters who keep her busy when she is not at work. She is also a keen yoga enthusiast and walker. Chantal is a friendly and approachable representative of the firm attending many local networking events and is always happy to meet new people and prospective clients.
