Catherine graduated with a first class law degree from The University of Warwick in 2012 before going on to study to become a Chartered Legal Executive. She joined Leathes Prior in September 2013 in our residential property team and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in September 2017.
Catherine has particular experience handling the sale and purchase of high value properties, including listed buildings. She also has specialist knowledge of leasehold properties and lease extensions. In addition Catherine has experience handling all property-related matters such as remortgages, matrimonial transfers, new build transactions and barn conversions.
Catherine has moved to our Agriculture Team and has expanded her knowledge to advise clients on agricultural law matters such as farm business tenancies, applications for first registrations of farm land, and the sale of land for development. In addition she handles other property matters such as deed of easements and the modification of covenants.
Catherine is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Catherine is a property enthusiast and was even on the TV show ‘To Buy or Not to Buy’. In her spare time she is passionate about keeping fit and enjoys going to the gym on a regular basis, and plays a rare round of golf. She also loves spending time with friends and family, and enjoys good food and wine.
