Dave joined Leathes Prior in 2007, having graduated in Law from King's College, London. Dave qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and works in both the Dispute Resolution and Business Regulatory & Defence teams at Leathes Prior.
Dave carries out a wide variety of services including criminal defence, commercial litigation, timeshare litigation, personal injury and road traffic law (as part of the national Traffic Lawyers team).
Dave specialises in Injuries and Clinical Negligence litigation. Dave has advised and acted for Claimants that have been involved in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and accidents arising from faulty products, those that have suffered with asbestos-related illnesses, have endured child abuse and have been subjected to workplace bullying, and on behalf of the estate and bereaved relatives of individuals involved in fatal accidents. Dave has also advised and acted for Claimants that have received negligent medical treatment.
Dave is also a Mediator with the firm's mediation arm, mediation-1st, and is accredited by ADR Chambers. Dave has acted as lead mediator for disputes relating to consumer issues, landlord and tenant matters and corporate and commercial arrangements and has acted as assistant mediator for disputes involving commercial agreements, corporate arrangements and high-value sales disagreements. Dave specialises in the emerging field of Online Mediation.
Dave also operates the firm’s debtcollector service.
