Leathes Prior is thrilled to announce that Hannah Griffin has been admitted to the roll of solicitors and has accepted the offer to continue her career here at the firm. She will be qualifying into the firms Wills, Trusts & Probate (WTP) Team, headed up by Partner, Claire Woolliscroft, where she has dedicated the last 12 months of her Training Contract, supporting the team with a range of private client matters.
On Hannah qualifying with the firm, Claire said, “We are really pleased to have Hannah qualifying into the Team. We are very proud to offer our clients a private client conveyancing service and Hannah has demonstrated through her training that she has the skills and acumen to thrive within this specialism.”
Hannah joined the firm when she began her Training Contract in September 2021, having previously studied Law at the University of York. After graduating in 2020, Hannah then went on to study the LPC at the University of Law in Leeds gaining a distinction. During her Training Contract, Hannah has undertaken seats in three different teams beginning with our Residential Property Team, then with the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team with a focus on commercial litigation before her final seat with the Wills, Trusts & Probate Team.
She has been working closely alongside Senior Associate, Bethany Slaughter for the duration of her seat in the Wills, Trusts & Probate Team, supporting Bethany with the work she does to bridge the gap between the WTP Team and the Residential Property Team, in an effort to offer the team’s clients a much more holistic experience which she will continue to do.
As a valued addition to the growing WTP Team, Hannah will continue to provide outstanding advice on a full range of private client matters including matters relating to Wills, trusts, estate planning and lasting powers of attorney to the team’s well established client base.
Training Principal, Sarah Appleton said, “It is always wonderful to see Trainee Solicitors grow and develop during their time with us, and Hannah is no exception. Hannah’s level head, diligence, and dependable nature have served her very well throughout her Training Contract, and I have no doubt that they will serve her equally as well during the next phase of her career. Congratulations Hannah!”
We are delighted to welcome Hannah as a newly qualified solicitor to the team and wish her the best of luck for her future here at Leathes Prior.
