Compulsory microchipping of dogs

On the 6th April 2016 it became compulsory for dogs in England to be microchipped under the Microchipping of Dogs (England) Regulations 2015. Failure to conform may result in the owner facing a fine of up to £500.

George Osborne announced in his budget speech on 16th March 2016 that all schools will be forced into becoming academies by 2022. This may sound like a long way down the road but by 2020 schools must have started or be already undergoing the conversion process.

So the last post was part one of this series on dispute resolution. I looked at the various means of resolving a dispute where the parties retain control themselves. Oddly; a trial by combat or a war would fit into that category but I’m not considering those. I think realistically most people would just describe those as a “dispute” rather than a means of “dispute resolution”.
