Leathes Prior to offer Employment Law support to The Lotteries Council and its Members
LP’s Employment team is to offer Employment Law support to the Members of The Lotteries Council; the national support group for over 200 organisations – including, charities hospices and football clubs – that operate lotteries.
The scheme, part of a new “Affiliated Professional Services” initiative, will enable Members of the Council limited access to free telephone and email advice on a range of employment issues from LP’s specialist team, renowned for being experts in providing commercial solutions to tricky personnel situations.
Katie Franklin, Associate within the Employment team, commented: “I was delighted to be invited by The Lotteries Council to appear on their panel of experts at their Annual Conference earlier this year and to accept the opportunity to offer advice to Members as part of the Affiliated Professional Services initiative. The legal issues surrounding employment affect all businesses and it can be difficult for organisations, particularly those within the voluntary sector, to access practical and quality advice that is affordable. Hopefully through this initiative the Members will see great benefits from being able to draw on this support across a range of lottery specific areas and I look forward to working with the Council and its Members in the future.”
