Sarah Waddington
Conveyancing Executive
Sarah joined Leathes Prior in 2010. Educated locally in Norwich, Sarah has recently enjoyed a 10-year post at Eversheds, during which time she gained extensive experience and provided services to national developers and several local developer clients.
Sarah moved into the Social Housing sector six years ago where she worked for many Social Housing Providers and is therefore fully acquainted with the commercial aspects, procedures and documentation involved with both new-build freehold and leasehold sales, and Housing Association NewBuild Homebuy (Shared Ownership) matters.
Sarah has experience in dealing with transactions such as Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, Assignments (re-sales of existing shared ownership properties), Stair-casings and Transfer of Equity. Sarah specialises in acting for the buyers of properties both from Developers and Housing Associations (now known as Registered Providers) working within the timeframes required to enable a swift and pain-free transaction for all concerned.
Outside of Leathes Prior, Sarah is interested in greyhounds and has done some volunteer work for Yarmouth Homefinders, (a branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust). She also enjoys reading and walking.
