Ski Challenge Snowballs to become an Annual Event
The Leathes Prior Down Hill Ski Challenge was a huge success with more than 70 Norfolk business people taking part in the event which was in association with the EDP.
Mixed teams of five took part in a knock-out series of slalom races with the aim of taking home the Leathes Prior Cup.
First place went to Scotts Sheds and Fencing, very close in second place was the One Account, third place went to Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers and Barclays Commercial came fourth.
Brenton Williams, Business Partnership Manager of The One Account commented “This is the second time we have taken part in the Leathes Prior ski event and had a brilliant time; it is great to see so many companies turn out for charity. The whole night went so smoothly and the light hearted competition made the night thoroughly enjoyable.“
The event raised more than £900 for The Norfolk Boat, a charity which provides sailing holidays for both able bodied and disabled children.
Victoria Lake, Marketing Executive of Leathes Prior said “It was great to see so many Norwich Businesses contributing their time to making the event so successful; in fact, it has proved so popular that we have decided to make it an annual event.”
