Leathes Prior Corporate expands beyond Cathedral Close

Leathes Prior Solicitors has consolidated its commitment to a City Centre presence by announcing its expansion into premises at No 27/28 Tombland.

The premises are in addition to the firm’s long established presence at 74 and 75 The Close, which will continue to house the Litigation, Property, Commercial, Matrimonial and Private Client departments.

The Tombland premises will house “Leathes Prior Corporate”, bringing together for the first time a number of specialist solicitors in the fields of Company, Banking and Employment Law and Corporate Recovery – to provide a full Corporate Finance Service for the Firm’s rapidly expanding Corporate client base.

Paul Warman, head of Corporate at Leathes Prior, said:

“I am delighted that we are able to bring together in these wonderful premises the excellent team of lawyers that we have built up over the past ten years.

We are determined to build upon the solid base we have established; these premises will be a perfect platform to expand the team further and we look forward to forging ever stronger links with our existing and new corporate clients and fellow professionals in the corporate finance sector.”

Andrew McTear of insolvency specialists McTear, Williams and Wood commented: “The launch party seemed well attended and the new offices do give an impression of progressiveness, forward thinking and a willingness to invest in the future. Things are obviously on the up.”

To mark the occasion a champagne launch party was held attended by over 100 clients, associates, local businesses and banks.
