Are you up for the Challenge?

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding the third annual corporate downhill ski challenge in association with the EDP and supported by Barclays at the Norfolk Ski Club in Trowse, near Norwich. The event, which aims to be entertaining and raise money for charity includes a BBQ and refreshments and will take place at 6pm on Friday 28th April 2006. Victoria Lake, Marketing Executive of Leathes Prior, commented, “It was great to see so many Norwich Businesses contributing their time to making last years event so successful; in fact, it has proved so popular that we have decided to make it an annual event.” Each team is being asked to donate £50 to Nelson’s Journey by way of an entry fee, whilst Barclays are running a raffle which they will match fund under the Banks £ for £ scheme.The local charity based in Norfolk provides help and support to bereaved children. One of last year’s competitors, Brenton Williams, Business Partnership Manager of The One Account commented "This is the second time we have taken part in the Leathes Prior ski event and had a brilliant time; it is great to see so many companies turn out for charity. The whole night went so smoothly and the light hearted competition made the night thoroughly enjoyable." There has already been a great deal of interest from local businesses and anticipate a strong demand for entrance forms. We require teams of 5 skiers who will race against other teams in either a mini-league or Head to Head depending upon entry numbers. The winning team will be awarded the Leathes Prior Cup and five single annual memberships for the Norfolk Ski Club which has recently benefited from a £1.3m expansion of the slopes and clubhouse.
