Having been brought up in Norfolk, after completing her A-Levels Katie worked in Italy for 4 years. She returned to the UK to graduate in 2005 from Kent University with a First Class Honours degree in law. Having spent a year undertaking the Legal Practice Course in Nottingham, Katie joined Leathes Prior in September 2006 as a trainee solicitor. After experiencing work in the Commercial Team, focusing specifically on franchising, Katie went on to work in the Insolvency Team before settling into her chosen area of law; Employment.
Whilst as a member of the Employment Team Katie advises in all matters of employment law, she specialises in advising employers, both privately and through the provision of the increasingly renowned Employmentor support service. Under the supervision of Dan Chapman, Katie is establishing a reputation of being an approachable and commercial advisor with a no frills approach to problem solving.
Katie is, as you would expect, fluent in Italian and conversant in French and German. In her spare time she enjoys sailing, skiing, scuba diving and walking in the Norfolk countryside.
