 Jonathan Chadd

Jonathan graduated in Law at the University of Oxford and trained with a City of London firm before practising in London and Australia. He qualified as a solicitor in 1980 in the UK, and in New South Wales Australia in 1983 and joined Leathes Prior in 1986.
Jonathan is head of the Commercial team and as well as commercial contracts, he specialises in all aspects of franchising and intellectual property work, including e-commerce and media law.
Jonathan is a Notary Public, head of our Overseas Property team and a member of the European Solicitors Group.
Chambers UK Legal Directory 2009 rated Jonathan and Leathes Prior as 'Leaders' in Franchising and Jonathan is also recognised as a Legal Expert in Franchising by the Legal 500 publication, UK Legal Experts.
